Twitter seems to have started testing a new feature, namely Quote Tweet With Reaction which you can use to retweet someone. And currently, the feature is in the testing phase which is certainly very popular on social media especially focusing on videos: reaction videos.
Twitter said via its official Twitter that the feature is currently in testing on the iOS platform. If you have access to the feature, the retweet menu will have a “Quote Tweet With Reaction” button which means you can quote someone’s Tweet with a reaction.
Tapping on it will take you to a screen where you can take a photo or video to place the tweet at the top, or select one from your camera roll. As an example below, Twitter tweets a reaction quote to an announcement, which allows us to see how the reaction will appear to the user.
Tweet reaction videos can now start on Twitter!

This may be one of the steps that led Twitter to clone some of the most used features of TikTok by users today. As TikTok’s popularity continues to soar, CloudFlare says that TikTok surpasses Google as the most popular web domain in 2021. Embedded comments and posts are fairly common on TikTok, and the same feature has existed on other apps (including Meta’s Instagram) for years. year.
This new feature for sharing tweets will be the same as you when you are giving feedback or comments on TikTok videos. However, the Twitter post did not mention when the feature would start testing functionality on the Android platform. Moreover, reaction videos are not very common on Twitter, where most people prefer to use tweet threads (or link to TwitLonger, Medium, or other forms of blogging). So it doesn’t seem too surprising that Twitter is at least trying the idea.
But sometimes with the growing popularity of TikTok, many users also start looking for its features on other social media platforms, including one on Twitter.
